Perch Pond was one of the first lakes populated with camps in the 1940’s. The only way in to the camps was by way of Perch Pond Road, and it was closest to Route 22A. Many of the original camps were constructed in the 1940’s. Most camps use water from the lake for plumbing. Four camps have drilled wells. Camps on Perch Pond can be reached by Perch Pond Road, or Lower Perch Pond Road. Perch Pond has yet to see any invasive aquatic plants! There are plenty of broad leaf pondweed and water shield ‘nuisance’ plants however!
